All praise for the welds goes to Dan Trout of Fishmouth Fabworks.

I defintely will.  PMed you my contact info.  I go up to South Cow in Ukiah to wheel every so often, but I am interested in doing other trips up north.  I'd be curious where you like to wheel near SR.

Hey zembalayan,

Can you post your specs of your 93?!
drivetrain, suspesion, etc. :gap:

I can take a shot at a few of the items...

Marlin Crawler springs and SAS kit.  I believe it has a stock engine and transmission with a single 4.70 Marlin Crawler transfer case that is being upgraded to duals soon, possibly already done.  35 inch Goodyear tires with 5.29 gears and ARB lockers front and rear.  Bilstein shocks all around and a Warn winch sitting up front.

Oh...it's an 83  :gap:

I'm looking wheeling with zembalayan and his 4Runner in Moab this summer.  We wheeled the Rubicon together at MCR7 and had a great time.
1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.

Moab Tested & Rubicon Approved

:yikes: I know I'm bringing this back from the dead, but do you work at the Post Office off of Folsom?

I swear that was your Runner parked in there.  :turtle3:

No, I don't, but that would be nice because then I'd be a lot closer to the good wheeling.  I'm in SF.

Not the town, the street in SF. I think it's the post office.

Between Beale and Main.

I swear this is the same one I see parked there time to time. :turtle3:

The 80 has moved into sleeper mode.  It's got a Marlin L52HD, a Marlin Dual Ultimate, the 6 pin hub upgrade, Marlin's front and rear bumpers, Fishmouth Fabwork sliders, but it is still waiting for lockers, gears, bigger tires and possible suspension mods. We will see. . .

man you stuff alot of crap into that truck

I got three medium sized action packers just before MCR-08, and everything feels a lot more organized.  I won't deny that I carry a lot of stuff though.

Wow! That is interesting.  Chris' truck is a good one to resemble.  It did great on the trail.

i love watching them take off from the runway ;)

yup that would be them... my favorites are the old school c130s and the c17.... the c5s are cool just because they are huge and noisy
