hey guys, my names Matt i just got a 89 toyota 4wd and all and im looking to make it into a big project. Hopefully this board will be a better than pirate4x4 was lol. Anywayz from mississippi and i hope to learn alot to help me out and what not. thanks all for reading. and thanks 79coyote for showing me this forum.

welcome to marlin, what are your plans for the truck?

thanks yall. plans as of now are to fix whatever is wrong with the motor. Got the truck told the head gasket was bad and it runs just not very good. Its a 3.0, it has a 3" body already on it with some 33's. Eventually i wanna maybe do a sas and possibly pull the v6 for a v8. Mainly wanna try and make it into a trail and some mud riding truck. who knows what else might come across my mind lol.

i dont know i havnt seen a 4.3 in a yota yet, iv mostly always seen 350 in them. might have to check that out then. i got pics just didnt think to post em up lol.
