will i got a new frame 4 the sami . old 1 was bad ..  what is the best wheel base to have

It depends on where and what type of terrain you wheel in.  My 90 inch FJ40 works great in the tight mountain trails but sucks on tall ledges or real steep slickrock.  On the other hand my 105" 4 runner works great where my FJ is too short but won't turn well enough for the tight mountain trails.  My next rig will be about 100" to see if I can hit a nice compromise.

Hammerhead is totally right. I've found that at the Ruicon a short WB works fine, but for the alot of the vetical obsticales, like the ones found at Moab, a longer wheel base works better. A 4Runner like mine in stock trim sits at 103", it currently is at 105" an I have plans to stretch it further to 107" latter next year.

What do you like to wheel.

i think around 118-121 would be nice im at 126 now.

mine is shortened to 121....it's really not that nice

I think between 105" and 110" is ideal.

I'm at 109" on my 84 4Runner.  So far, it's been good minus all the quarterpanel and taillight damage  :gap:
