so heres my rig the day i bought it. as u can see...if u can...there is a bottle placed beneth my tire...just to show u the distants between the ground and my tire. that is a 16oz smirnoff (how ever u spell it) bottle..and there is still a good 5 inches of thin air. i was wondering if i moved my shock mounts and shocks to create that ever familiar "A" shape. would that give me more flex?as always..thanks guys and gals=)

if your rear shocks are bottomed out your not going to get anymore flex. I would probably move them and get longer ones, 12" or just get some 63" chevys

I also taught him how to put in 5min of hard work and then spend 15min staring and admiring what you have done...

Yota-Freak

yeah i thought that might be the case...welp..after x-mas is over...and i get my taxes back..i should have a pretty big piggy bank=) what leafs would u suggest? thanks for ur input and help btw=)

toyotanner

shock  placement isnt a big factor for flex unless the shocks are bottoming out..... i would say softer springs or you could run a double shackle in the rear.....
getting rid of the ifs might help :gap:

Yota-Freak

how much u think i could pick up some 63's for?

longer springs longer shackles and longer travel shocks!

not that im aware of..lol. im just now working on my body/chassis. it was all about getting the engine to run correctly when i bought it..lol. and the new clutch...so i really havent checked much.

Rocksurfer

Longer shocks will help that issue in the rear, they look maxed on the right side already and that's not the side that is lifting in the pic. The dual shocks are not an issue on the front for travel, it is just IFS at its best which will also cause the rears to lift. Just yesterday I had my left rear about 4 ft off the ground. It was interesting to say the least but I drove through it stopping would have been a bad thing.
