Ok well imma be a DD, 75% of time... but i need some tires to go mudding in, im not gonna rock crawl, maybe some trails and boggs and stuff, but no rock crawl and mainly mud/DD, what tires do you suggest i get?

Swampers! Swampers! Swampers!

I have always run Swampers and found them to be the best for MUD MUD and More MUD. Who cares what they do on the road, If you want road tires buy BFG's or somthing. You can always swap them around for road and off road. You should be able to put 38's on without much trouble. Remember your ground clearance is under the axle and only a tall tire will give you that clearance. Think of the rutts the big trucks make that you will high side in.

Buy what you want, but buy somthing that will do what you want where you want and don't compromise preformance for street handling.

I run a set of 33x12.5 TSL's and trust me MTR's suck compared to TSL's I will never go to a less aggressive tire the TSL's isnt as loud as some would think...

Fireimp,

I would go with the Traxxus Mud's!!! One of the 4 Wheeler mag's (4Wheeler or Peterson's) did a recent test between all these tires and for what you want to do (DD and mud) the Traxxus was one of the best on street and second best behind the Swampers in the mud. Besides - the Traxxus is also the cheapest!  :twocents:

you do not want Swampers for a DD, they'll wear way to fast.

there's really no comparison, hands down MTR is better for a DD/weekend wheeler.

Ooh..  ooh ..    What about the Cooper Discoverer STT?  Looks a lot like the toyo open country mud to me.

I really think I am going to run 37" boggers, I want to do an experiment.  Get some brand new boggers, find a good area that has different types of terrain and tackle it in the same conditions with regular boggers, and then cut them and run everything again.  Get all of it on video and  compar.
