Topic: axle noise

so I'm just finishing up my build on my 93 runner (I'll post pics soon) but on my test drive I noticed that when ever I go over a bump on the road there is a single click noise i think coming from my driver side hub.  I took the wheel off to inspect and there is no binding or anything and the hub is disengaged.  I was curious what it could be or if it is a common thing even.

sure it is the hub?  take the hub apart and see if the springs inside are on correctly.

i am not completely sure it is the hub since when it happens, im in the drivers seat. but when i took the tire off i noticed there was a very little bit of up and down play while holding the rotor.

if it is just the rotor then you wheel bearings are loose (the nuts holding them on) or bad. if it is the whole knuckle that is loose then your trunion bearings are bad.

Make sure that you're wheel bearings are tight enough

sure its not the anti rattle clip on your brake pads? My dads truck used to do that.
