thebiglot.com aka Longwood Industries.. scam or no?

I posted this over at PBB as well, hoping to get some responces back so I can make a somewhat educated decision here.


So i'm trying to sale my Dodge and I get a call from this guy the other day that leaves me a message on my phone indicating that he has some buyers that are interested in my truck.. leaves me phone number yada yada.

A few days later I call back, talk to some other dude and he tells me for $195 he GUARANTEE'S he can sale my truck for the full asking price within 60 days or he will refund me $165 dollars back.
I think to myself... $165? what happened to the other $20 bucks?
Okay no big deal...well I tell the guy to send me some info to my email and i'll look it over and get back to him.

Since then i've recieved probably 9-12 emails with stuff about thebiglot.com or their other name "Longwood Industries" (odd that they have 2 company names?!)

I dunno...I looked over the site.. seems kinda legit I guess.. but i'm a dumb arse half the time and don't know stuff the other half.
So before I blow $195 to some dumb arse that i'll never see again. I figured i'd ask the Marlinboard if anyone has delt with this company before?
Legit or no?

those Fballs look for ads and go sucker fishing. ya they'll sell your truck guaranteed, not for what you want for it but they have technically met their guarantee and you're out the fee, you get pissed and say F'm and sell (or try) to on your own again. square one but minus $$

anyways.. the dude calls me again today and he starts off on his typical ssshhhpeeaall..

I interupt and explain to him that this is how this will work.. or it will not work at all.

Me:  I tell you what I will let you sale my truck on your site, how's that sound?

Me:   Naaahh... what we're going to do is your going to post my truck up on your website and get ahold of all these anxious people that want to by my vehicle and for some reason would rather talk to YOU rather than myself personally, then your going to sale my truck for the full asking price within 60 days like your guarantee states. Once this has been met you will get your $195 dollars how does that sound?

Me: I dont care... if your so sure of yourself you'll make that $195 within a week like you had originally told me and it doesn't cost $195 dollars to post a few pictures and a simple explaination of the truck in general on your website.

these people are still calling me every week.. i've stopped answering their calls.. they all start with an 877 area code but that was the biggest mistake calling and talking to them.
