doesn't make any sense to me. The majority of California voted democrat but prop 8 was basically being ran by repub. so how did this bill pass?

(I voted McCain and yes on 8!)

So since I have no religion I have no values? Nah, some of us base our values on real life experience rather than what others tell us or what we read. There is a lot of what the church preaches that I agree with but it isn't because the church preaches it..

You shouldn't even be talking like that. I hate the fact that he got elected and I disagree with just about all of his beliefs but I would hate it even more if someone assasinated him. It makes the US look bad in front of the rest of the world when something like that happens. Not to mention the fact that he has a wife and 2 small children.

you know what this bill doesnt even need to have religion added too it if need be... its simple biology whether you believe in God or not. Our bodies werent built for homosexuality. doesnt take a genius to know that.

The biggest reason to vote against same sex marriage is the precedent it sets... If it is legal anywhere it has to be recognized by the whole. So if brainless and Glen get married in CA where it's legal they can then move to FL and FL has to recognize their marriage.

As much as the far left screams for a separation between church and state you won't see them getting out of the divorce business. There is FAR too much money for them to make with them being linked even if ever so slightly..
