well, it's almost time for the sas so i decided i would start my build up thread. after planning and saving for a year i have finnally gathered my parts. the plans are - 4" rancho springs (for now), 5" shackles and drop hangar, fully armored '85 axle with 4.88's and a detroit locker, 33's. as soon as funds allow i will finish my body armor, lift and lock the rear, and get 35's or 37's. as soon i resize my pictures i will post them.

My Runner had the stock links lengthened five inches in order to get the axle centered back in the wheel well after longer coils were installed.  However, I'm going to have to agree that leafs would be a better way to go because by the time you get enough lift in the rear your links are at way to severe an angle.  (The ones on my runner were almost bottomed out against the link mount on the frame.) Just my .02 cents

rear done with 4.88 gears, 2.5in longer than stock links, and ome 863 coils
