Frozen Caster Camber Bolts
« on: Nov 01, 2008, 05:22:38 AM »
Hi guys,

I got an 86 runner i took to get aligned the other day and the guys at the shop told me the caster/camber wouldn't adjust (frozen). Is there a way i can fix this without breaking the caster/camber bolt, i do not want to heat it up and destroy the bushing. Do i just WD40 the heck out of it and try to pry it free?

You could try that but get a good pentrating oil like PB Blaster or Koil (sp). Soak it for a few days before trying to loosen it.
