Im going to run 63in chevy springs in the rear, but im not sure what i can do to get the height to be even with my front.  I know they give you about 2-3 incheses on the spring.  I need about 4 inches of spring. any answers

longer shackles. or make the front hangers so the spring bolts a little lower off the frame.

An AAL may make the spring pack stiffer. You could use a longer shackle, small  blocks, or lift Chevys instead of stock ones (which also may be stiffer).

I wouldn't make the front hanger hang lower off of the frame to gain ride height. The lower it hangs down the more it will catch on rocks.

Actually if you make a 2 inch drop hanger and use a 2 inch lift shackle it will sit right were it was before while gaining lift.

alright with the 2 inch drop hanger in front and the 2 inch shackle with the 63in leaf, ill get about how much of a lift 4,5,6in ??
also what would be better a 4pack or 3 pack, "what do you run".  I know the 3pack of of a chevy will be softer, but is it that much of a diference.

www.offroadDesign.com sells a "Zero rate" Its basicly a 1 inch lift block but you pin it to the spring and it's steel so its not goign to break and get spit out. It also will let you move the axled up to 1.5 inches forward or back without redrilling the springs.

While lift blocks will add a little leverage and possibly axle wrap 1 inch is not a big amount of lift so should not caus to much problems and it's not going to srew with your spring rates.

It also depends on what kinda chevy spring you get.  My 1/2 ton (3 leaf) springs gave me about 2 inches of lift.  My buddy used 3/4 ton (4 leaf) springs and it gave him about 3 inches of lift.  My truck sits perfectly level.  about 7-8 inches of lift.  In the front- 2 inch drop hangers, 2 inch shackle and rear springs.  In the rear- 1/2 ton chevy springs, 4 inch block, and 2 inch shackle.  Just to give you something to compare to.

thanks a lot,
i got a buddy who runs duel shackle and he said they work good, except sometimes your can get axle wrap when backing up.

  Question: anyone run wagoneer springs in front.

I am running the dual shackles right now.  They do alow it to drop a lot more but the the shackles with flip if extended all the way.  I used KYOTA's idea and welded a flat peice of 2x1x1/4 inch metal.  It stops it most of the time now.  I think i welded it in the wrong place though.  It has only flipped twice since i welded it on.  KYOTA has a picture of his if you want to see it.
