In my buddies runner we started with 1/2 ton chevies with single shackle and then we swapped 3/4 ton chevy springs for the added weight in the rear of his runner ( bumper, roof rack, spare)  I have the 1/2 ton springs in my truck with dual shackles and I have about the same lift as him (5-6") .  He has a 3" block as well and I have a 2" block. Hope this helps.

sup savage, find those springs and i'll help you install them soon. Davez is selling them for $170 :shocking: , but that is pretty pricy.

Oh, and sorry bout the teeth :gap: , but that was really funny  .

I just added a full length add a leaf to my 88 1500 packs, and LOVE the extra spring rate. Thats on my 85 4runner with rears up front. Will still go about 40" off the ground before lifting a tire too.
