What you wont need is a birf. eliminator unit since you are IFS, I just save you $700, so send me 50% ASAP!!
Air lockers would be nice but $$$. If its just a basic run arounder for you I would get the 529s or 488s with  detroit full locker in the rear and a true trac up front, if you have lots of snow then I would go with tru tracs in both ends, that way you wont be always sliding off to one side when you hit the gas.
All of these items you will find under for sale posts here and on the pirate4x4 site, for cheap.

Fireimp141

O ok, didnt know bout the birf thanx, and its going to be a basic everyday driver, with alot of weekend mudding, its texas so u dont have to worry bout snow  ;)

I would suggest you drop the body lift and just pump up the Torsion bars and/or Saw some fenders off...get heavy duty Torsion bars,   if you dont have manual hubs....get them the lift will put more stress on the hubs...I would try and get the E-locker for the rear...cheaper than the ARB'S and plus the cool factor...I would do 4:88's cause their stronger...oh oh dont get the warn bumper if you want to save money...just make your own or buy a used one.......thats all I can think of  :headscratch:

actually if u have locking hubs, it doesnt put as much stress on the suspension. its auto hubs that do that when the torsion bars are cranked. go with hd torsion bars either way though

well if they are auto, they will say right outside  TOYOTA AUTOMATIC LOCKING HUBS. manual hubs say AISIN  on them and have a dial u spin to lock and unlock them. hd torsion bars run about $150.  www.swayaway.com carries them. there not hard real hard to put in. just requires a little strength!

Ya everytime i go offroading i gotta get out and turn the hubs :-/ pain in the butt, but i guess they are better. And will i be able to crank up my torsion bars i got now? or would tht be unsafe, cause ineed like 2-3 inches lift offa it so i can use my tires.

You can also get heavy duty torsion bars at downey offroad...its not that bad to crank up the bars youll have a bit of a rougher ride and as long as you dont drive like a bat out of hell youll be fine...and yes you can crank up the TB's that you have on right now but its always better do use HD ones if youre going to crank em up a bit....I am not really sure how much you can crank em up I currently have em cranked up 1"

Oh Im in San Antonio :beerchug:

u can get 1.5" tops out of the torsion bars. if iwere u i would go with the hd ones. go with a 1" body lift from www.sky-manufacturing.com

I have a 2" body lift on my 90 although I am not a great fan of them. I was able to clear 34" tires with that & a rancho/downey 3" suspension lift & larger torsion bars. You probably have to cut the fenders still & either beat or cut & graft the rear of the wheel well with 35's. The 34's rubbed at full turn in the wheel well with this set up.

But with a lot of tread thats bad for driving, and not so much tread thats good for driving wouldnt it end up wearing out at about the same time?

having a lot of tread doesnt matter. my bfg muds get driven on daily. there not like a bogger but there fine. just go with something simple like the bfg, or maybe a swamper ltb, they cheap
Im an OG

Fireimp141

BUT I WANT KNOBBY lol... the thing is, i can get em cheap ass... like prolly 300-350$ for some 33's all 4... so i mean its not that bad, but ya, i might end up going with mtr's or bfg's  o the delimma!

Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

No spacers, just a sawzall.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

4DEES

yup white trash is right, you dont need no spacers. if you ask me, I think you should get 33 inch swamper radials since your gonna be driving it daily, and its an agressive tire too, good for mud/trail/rocks/sand......BFG mud terrains are okay but in the mud they become slicks(even aired down alot)dont get me wrong, its a good tire, but if you plan on hittin' some mud once in a while,I'd go with the swamper.
