I'd rather push a Toyota than drive a Jeep!!!

By the looks of it he dosent have enough money....so jumping on 33's would be momentery after that he would save his money...he just dosent want to be on small tires ( he has 28's :nerv: )

Quote from Fireimp141...also have like $700 extra,  so taking ideas on what to do next!

If you have $700 extra after you do the mods you said you were going to do to the IFS.  Why don't you just not do those mods now, and add that $ to the $700 you have and do an sas.  You may need a little more money, but save for another month or so and add that $ to what you already have and you should be able to sas.

The thing is, im not looking to go super big right now, i just want a truck that i can have some fun in... the sas swap is big time, and i wont get that till i have a job... i cant just save for another month or so... the money i got was from 2 people hitting me haha, and for a sas swap it would be expensive, then i would need money for lift and tires ALSO! unless u can get me tires, lift, sas swap for a lil less than 2k... hardly doubt it... so im just going to do the shackles and blocks and HD torsion bars, its basically going to be a DD with some offroad weekend and afterschool fun... no rock crawling, none of that for now... just something me and my friends can hit the trail with :-/ unless u wanna come over and do the sas and :pokinit: for me, since ure in austin and all ;) im just up here in dallas, other than that im sticking with what i got

Under 2k for a sas??  Damn I built my whole 90 for under that.  SAS new engine axles Mco7 the works.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

To The Floor

You could do an sas for under 2K easy, and you don't have to go huge.  You could just do the sas with stock wagoneer springs and no blocks or big shackles or anything for now and you could run 32's or so.  But I understand where you're at.

Fireimp141

jesus white, how did u do that? if i could do a SAS swap for under $1000 id do it now! but i do want to get 33's but thats possible with shackles and blocks.... so if u could tell me

yeah just crank the t-bars for now and do some blocks.  you could do the sas for under a grand, but it'd be way cheaper to just fit 33's with what ya got.

well I think I should point out that the front fenders have a taller opening than the rears do. you not as "sagy" as you may think. do not look at the opening , look at the bump stops. that will tell you how much you need to raise the rear end. if you raise the rear till the front and rear have the same distance from the top of tire to the fender, it's going to look like your running down hill! and that would be  :stopit: realy :stopit: in fact so  :stopit: that swampy would not drive it! so don't make you truck look  :gay:
