Woo Hoo!!! $1.99 a gallon!!!

I just payed $1.99 a gallon for gas!!! If you are in the Lincoln,CA area swing by Tower Market and see if they haven't ran out yet. I don't know how much is left but I didn't mind cutting class and a 45minute wait to pay that much. It was the first time that I wished I was on Empty. I filled the rest of my tank and two gas cans.

What a great deal!! I took the beast ('72 K20) to Redding for mufflers today and paid $3.769.  Hit the $100 Visa limit before the tanks got filled...    

Lucky I wasn't any lower, the beast will hold 50+ gallons

I got out of school early because as soon as 3pm hit I knew everybody that drove to school would be on it. It seemed like half the school had the same idea... The guy that owns this station also owns one in Lathrop and one in Redwood city, but the police made them change the prices at the others because it was to busy. Ours was on the verge of being shut down by the cops, but our line is only about 1/2 mile long.

In Yuba it's still 3.86 or 3.79 a gallon, only 20 min's away

Update: Ran out of regular and mid grade yesterday, but had a gas truck come last night. Awoke this morning to news of $1.99 gas on tv and radio. Drove by to find $3.29 regular. Still far below the price of other stations. Yes, they do have diesel. The price of diesel was and still is $4.13 there.
