he bought it from Ozarks boss here in Arkansas,  so naturally he had it sent to my place.
over the next couple month's or more i'll get the head put back on and  fire it up, 

the interior??  :aaa:

    looks good from here. Well I am about a thousand miles away... Are those the rear seats that are water stained?  I maybe in the market for some seats I guess :headscratch:.    Glen do you have the full size pics? If you could can you send them to me. I will pm with a e-mail address that will take large pics so you don't have to resize them... :thumbs:


I guess this is when the parts list is going to start to get a little longer...Note to self..add seats to list of parts..
Karen  will be very happy when it rolling and up here. I may even be able to talk her into a trip to come down so I can help work on it. Maybe even drive it home. That's the only bad part about the new job.. No more TX runs. :-\

Looks like it would be #1 pricey and #2 maybe only one of the first 10 made?...

Are you sure that it's not a A340F like the 4x4wire info pages says it would be?  The A340H was put behind the 3.0/V6, with the 22RE getting the A340F( WITH THE REMOVABLE CHAINDRIVE T/C).

4X4wire says :
A340F 1984-1999 22RE, 22RTE 4 2.80   Found on vehicles with manual hubs and V6 models after '96.

4X4wire says this about the A340H in a 4runner:
A340H 1988-1995 3VZE 4 2.80  Mechanical Linkage on Side Found on vehicles with ADD, transfer case integral to transmission.

it turns out it IS indeed a A340H,  at this time,  Vman has decided to go on with the 4runner  as is cause he needs something to drive :whip:

Mike,  i have Felpro gaskets  to install your head with,  do you want to order a headgasket from EngineBuilder??   or i can install the felpro, it IS a blue gasket
