well my time here in Kuwait is getting short. we just did our last convoy mission and i could not be happier.
but this post is about our last mission. and how bad it sucked. to start off it was a training mission so we only had half our team the other half is our replacement's. glad to see em but we would much rather run with our proven guys that already know their jobs. it started off being a short mission then went to a few day mission then back to a short mission. every fob we stayed at the ac cut off just as we were getting to bed. one day it was up to 101* in the tent. try sleeping in 101*.
the best part was my guy that i got to share a truck with. pathological liar. great entertaining lies. like this one.
" i got to ride my friends ninja 10 and at 150 mph all the sudden the nos kicked in. he never told me he had nos"
" i have a friend in the USAF that is a pro fighter. he holds a world belt but i don't know what in"
" (me) my dog weighs 80lbs(him) my dog weighs 180lbs"
my fav was when we were arguing about full size burbans and f350s being able to keep up with yotas and jeeps
" i got a lifted 91 burban with interchangeable Dana 66's front and rear both locked(yep Dana 66's???) to turn my massive 35" tires. its powered by a 468 cu in motor and gets better than 20 mpg."
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
i lost it. i had to tell him he was full of :pokinit: and i don't believe him one bit.
but now we are back and about to be going home soon.
i had to share the burban with Dana 66s and 468 that gets better than 20mpg story with yall
enjoy

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Welcome Home! Hey what are your Pismo plans? Wanna caravan down on Friday with us? I was just in Kuwait on Thursday. It was hot and dusty.. go figure. I was there two whole hours... we hauled the 10,000th MRAP into theatre.. got some pretty good press coverage. We made it there and back from Travis in 4.5 days... 45 hours on a plane in 4 days sucks!! Not nearly as bad as being there for 6 months though  :driving:
