I have a 1997 4 door Acura Integra
Lowered
Manual 5 speed
About 120k miles
Cd player
Working A/C&Heat
Sun Roof
Cold air intake
2&1/2 inch exhaust all the way through

The bad: It does have a salvage title, The car was stolen and interior stripped, then everything was recovered. Also the drivers window gets stuck every once in a while, and the previous owner kept the fin for the back of the car. Theres a tear in the drivers side leather seat. And it could use a carpet cleaning (I did my best cleaning the carpet it looks much better but if your picky you might want it cleaned)

Well I joined the site last year, so I didnt join just to sell, I just like checking out other peoples rigs and build ups, I just dont say much.

And, I dont have a photobucket to upload the pictures to, I may just make one if it becomes that big of a problem.

And to introduce myself, I live in paradise, ca, Used to drive an 84 runner, welded front, 5.29s front and rear on 37's and thought I wanted a car for better gas milege, except for I cant go anywhere (literally anywhere, Its lowered) anymore, so I would like to go back to a truck.

Shes pretty fast, not incredible, but im sure it wouldnt take much if you wanted to make it into something like that, It was pretty nice though going from something that maxed out at 50 on the freeway (my runner) to a car like this I must say, But its definentally not worth not being able to go offroad anymore.

sorry forgot to ask in my first post,.....  what kind of lowering springs/struts are on it?  what brand is the cold air intake?    you said it has two inch exhaust, does it have a catalytic converter? header?   i'm asking all the questions because i have a built 84 xtra cab for sale.

Its an Ls, Im not really sure on the springs(I can try to find out, it was lowered when i bought it though and i just never asked), I think its a K&N air filter, yes it has a catalytic converter, no headers.

well i'm in south dakota but we might still be able to work something on a trade.   i didnt think about it until now but i'm sure my toyota probably would not be legal on the street in california.  i know you said you want a truck you can drive on the street and on the trail, so you would have to put a catalytic converter on it and i suppose it would need some type of rear fenders and mudd flaps.   i'm not really up to par on the laws in cali, i just know they are alot more strict than in SD!   here's some pictures (i have more) let me know if you are interested.   i also have it posted in the for sale section.    http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=49968.0

Any quality spring should have the name right on the coil, usually right near the top or bottom 1st or 2nd coil

so can you legally drive my truck in cali?  i'm just curious.      i was looking into what it would cost to bring it to you and then just drive the integra home.  i dont know exactly how i would do it.  i guess i would have to rent a uhaul truck and trailer and leave it in california.   i looked up the book value on your car and especially with the salvage title i would need some cash with the car if we were going to trade.

Yeah, I was actually going to tell you that the value of your truck is a bit more, And as your truck stands right now, No it wouldnt be legal It take a bit for it to probably pass cali smog unless I just green stickered it, But I need something to drive around town. (Its a tiny town, but I would still have to get around) But if you think your really serious about coming out here and you really want to do that, let me know how much cash youd be talking about, and Id be willing to throw 300$ for the travel, It wouldnt be something I could hurry and do though I would definentally have to get some cash together first. But like I said if your really serious about it just let me know.

so what does the green sticker mean??   and as far as being serious about bringing it to you i am deffinately going to check into how much it might cost.   i have to finish fixing the throttle body on my s10 here for a little bit then i will get online and try to find some rates on uhaul trucks and other things like that.   personally i think it would be kind of fun to make the road trip!!  i have always wanted to go to california and check it out!

Cool, Im in no rush so just let me know when you find out, Ill look into what would have to be done to make it street legal here.

And to green sticker it would be to make it strictly offroad, so I would have to tow it to wherever I would want to wheel it.

oh that makes sense with the whole green sticker thing.  i figured it would be something like that.    so how long have you had the integra?  it looks like a really clean car, its in good shape.  and did you ever figure out exactly what kind of springs are on it?

Sorry it takes me so long to write back, but anyways I really have only had it a few months, I had an 84 4runner on 37's in which I broke out the back window.... then the lights were all f'ed up,it needed a new windsheild, just a bunch of stuff I didnt feel like fixing and I didnt think Id be wheeling this winter so decided I wanted a car for better gas and to get around in the rainy months, so I sold it and got the car, and Ive now decided I dont even need a commuter because I dont travel often at all, really didnt care about the mpg too much in the first place, and basically I want to wheel and cant in an integra. And Yeah, Its in good shape, it does have a couple dings in the door, you would never even see them if they werent pointed out, and theres some scratches around the front and rear, Ill definentally get some detailed pictures to you so you can see everything. And sorry Ive yet to check out the springs, Ill get on it though.

yeah i havnt been able to reply for a couple days because the web site has been acting strange on my computer.  it wouldnt load up for me to even be able to log in.  anyways i deffinately like your car, i would like some more pictures of the interior and the engine bay also.  i can send you some more pics of my truck if you would like me to.   If you decide that you seriously want my truck we will have to work out a price/trade deal then i will find a truck and trailer to use to bring it to you.  i know a few people with nice towing rigs and trailers that i could hopefully get to let me use.  you can email me some more pics instead of posting them if you want.
