YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

From the pic your new pack looks like it is backwards.

Wow I'd say next time put a longer second leaf in there to support the main..... That's what killed that one, negative arch, a bit of throttle and 5" of unsupported main leaf will bend every time. :gap:
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

that I have and I am prolly going to try it when I get time but not as much lift maybe 1" or less just enough to at least make them flat if not posative arch

They settled down to basically flat/stockish. The only lift the front of my truck really has is mostly from shackles. If you do try it the same way I did, and after it settles it still has too much lift, you can always remove a leaf.

4x4yota

ok cool I have the old set of leafs off the rear of my 4runner plus a set off the front that were heavily modified RUFs

got any currant pics of the leafs to see how they settled?

No, I will take pics once the truck is back together if you remind me. Right now it is sitting on jackstands. Really, you could use just about any long skinny leaf spring as long as it is the right width. Just mix and match until you get the height you want.

4x4yota

thanks for the advice I appreciate it... Ill prolly start tearing appart leaf packs monday and see what I can come up with

Picture with the weight of the truck on the springs. As you can see, the springs are almost flat. Most of the lift is from the shackle, and I have a bolt on add a leaf/ axle relocater deal in there too that provides a little lift and moves the axle forward a bit. If you would like more pics, let me know.

4x4yota

what type of plate do you have moving your axle forward Im looking to do the same also unless you want to sell me your truck so I dont have to copy I can just have it lol
