got the idea from pirate, since about once a week there is a new thread about it. so why not make it one thread so the questions dont need to be asked anymore...

here is the link... but i will copy and paste it all over here if you dont want to follow the link

let the marlin version begin:

As we all know that there are plenty of companies to choose from who make SAS kits. in the end it is up to you, the consumer on what you want to get and what you are willing to pay. there are a few simple questions you need to ask yourself first off..

Is the Kit Complete?
Is the kit for Front & Rear?
Does the Kit have extra parts you don't need?
How much does it cost?
Are the parts made using high quality materials?
Are the parts CNC'd or hand fabricated?
Are the parts bare maetal, painted, plated or powder coated?
Does the Company have the parts in stock?
Does the Company actually use their equipment on their own company and personal vehicles?
Does the Company have a good reputation in the offroad community and your friends?
Does the Company have good service and warranty?
Does the company have a good website?
Does the Company offer installation?
Does the Company have good instructions?
Does the Company support Pirate 4x4.com?
Does the Company offer other parts that you need?
How long has the Company been around?
Is the Company easy to get ahold of via phone or email?
Is the Company's product's innovative?
Is the Company constantly trying to improve their products?
What makes this Companys products different than Brand X?

ill post up links to a few companies that offer SAS kits with price, info on the kit, and link to the site. if there are more then feel free to throw them in here...

Judging by how proud downey is of their parts (expensive) and the low cost of their kit, I have to think it's probably a trail gear setup.  Downey doesn't do cheap!

good idea AJ there are so many threads on "help, what is a better kit"??? it is nice to see the specs on each lift. Or you can home brew your own... thats what a lot of people do too.
