cool, good luck! i'm starting back on monday also, going for my b.s. in geology. got 7 classes left to finish. its nice getting school out of the way, i'm just hopeing it pays off.
The only thing I want to warn you about with taking online classes is its REALLY EASY TO FORGET ABOUT IT. Do not underestimate how easy it is to forget to log on, or turn an assignment in on time. Especially if you are working full time, two jobs. You can screw yourselves over real fast with online classes. Teachers are also a lot less lenient because a lot of people take online classes, and a lot of those people constantly have an excuse for something, late assignment, missed exams etc. So they don't really give a hoot about your excuses, and its easier for them to shoot you down and tell you tough since you can't give them a sad puppy dog face, or bake them cookies Just take it from me. It sucks to spend a couple months busting ass and then take your A down to a C, or even fail. All because you decided to go on that snow run you knew you shouldnt have gone on. And then your buddy broke down, and it took two days to fix and you were the only one with a working 4x4, so you were the only one that could drive to BFE both days to run parts, tools and food. And you totally forgot that your final research paper (worth half of your final exam score) was due by 5PM that day. And even though it was true, your teacher doesn't buy one word of your heroic snow rescue story and tells you "better luck next time!" Just stay on top of that stuff. What I suggest doing is picking a time, X days a week and pretending like you have a class to be at with a teacher who gets pissed if you don't show up. Then just make a habit of always logging on and doing your work that time on those days. Makes it a lot easier to stay on top of things once you make a habit of always doing your work then. So good luck, and DONT FORGET!!!
It was just crazy to see this deer leap all suicidal style off this embankment right in front of us.
SO FAR it's not so bad. We're taking 2 classes, and most of the time the stuff is due on alternate days. Matt and I are trying to work ahead so that we can have some time with Sierra on Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately, there is stuff due 6 days a week instead of 5 but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Time to go walk the mutt
i started back to school a couple of weeks ago. im gettting my wleding cert, really enjoying it so far the hardest class is the blueprint reading and thats because im so rusty on the mathgood luck everyone
thanks for the smooch I miss you too !
good for u goin back to school. i just got accepted into a vascular imaging program. its goin to be nuts. i got 11 units this term with 2 labs. it should be fun 6 terms of school left then off to get a masters in health care management.
Awsome! That's great. Unfortunately, the JC I used to be at says I owe them money (I don't, we have record of them getting our check in 2005), so they won't give me my transcripts. So, looks like I"m starting from the beginning again. We'll see, I reaalllyyyy don't want to do Algebra III again! I can fight it, but right now it's small beans compared to everything else going on right now.
well after the round up and getting the tow rig and trail rig ready for mcr and work and school, I am carrying A's in my classes.
