MCR7 checklist time is ticking?????

Good luck finding all of the bolts...

I think I landed on a rock and it broke. Either that it may have been when i waw fully getting it cause i did hear a loud break but nothing seemed wrong.

All the bolts are still in the transfercase still so I am good there

          -finish half doors-----Almost there! -DONE!

          -relocate rear brake line Done!

          -replace the rear shocks Done!

          -tune CB antenna Done!

          -finish stereo  DONE!

          -sand and paint the hood and roof  Almost done...

          -detroit locker for the rear...  DONE!   :hyper:

          -(wishful thinking here) OBA. --- Definitely not happening before
            MCR.   :thumbdown:  :down:

          -Then, of course, the ritual of servicing the rig right before the trip.

              -you know, greasing the chassis, checking the fluids, making sure
               everything is tight....  :blah: :blah: :blah:     

           -Load all my :pokinit:

           -hit the road :driving:

           -have a good time!   :camping: 

          That is all.....fer now!   :yupyup:

Norcal crawler

Found something else to fix. My engine is leaking anti freeze all over the pass. side. And its not coming from the radiator... soo not sure what it is yet but ill have to get it fixed.
-'85 Toyota pickup, 35's, 4.7 dual cases, locked f/r, longs, etc.

-'04 Jeep Wrangler, 4 1/2" RE Lift, 33's, ARB's, 4:1's.

Well in the last two weeks I rewired my whole rig made a new dash put on a header and all new exhaust 1 ton master cylinder(3 years without brakes was long enough) Put on a new bigger power steering resevoir(for the full hydro 3 years of the leaky stock one was enough) and tonight i pulled it out of the garage and pressure washed her and cleaned the garage (I even mopped it) Pulled the truck back in and the radiator sprung a leak :hammerhead:so now i haft to do a radiator :thumbdown: oh well at least it was in the garage not the trail.

NOW I have a list to post LOL, a week before the trip!

Install new wheel bearings on passenger side
Install "new" center console
Install new CB antenna parts once they arrive
Spray paint bumpers and sliders with new paint coming soon
Pack truck
Already installed a new passenger side axle due to losing a u-joint cap :D

square driveline anti rattle = electrical tape wrapped around the shaft wont last very long though

Put Optima in
Replace leaking power steering hose
Rebuild front axle drivers side
Locate replacement pass. side steering knuckle
Rebuild front axle passenger's side
rethread passengers knuckle (save as spare)
Swap on new passenger side steering knuckle
Find new rear axle housing
Redrill pitman arm and move drag link to the top of pitman arm
Swap all my axle parts to new housing
weld on shock tabs
new dif breathers
extend rear into bed
Front dif armor
Rear dif armor
Oil change for the tranny, tcases, and axles
pick up as many spare parts as i can
make half doors more bling bling
Pre-wheelin' ritual (all fluids, torque, etc)
beer to motivate wrenching
re-bust out camping gear
girlfriend needs to get the time off

Now I have to replace the entire hub body on the passenger side! WTF, my list keeps growing but it BETTER be fixed after that!

Haha yeah a few things became check list items as I started working towards other things for this trip. Some of the stuff on that list can go with out ... like fixing up the half doors, pitman arm and front dif armor, pretty much everything else i am busting ass to get done though hehe
