MCR7 checklist time is ticking?????

Ok gang I started this thread last year and here we are again.  What is on your list to do's b4 the roundup?

I hope to have my first gen going for this round up. 

To do:
alt
reg
adjust clutch
wheel spacers
radio
fix vac leak
get it to idle
put in roll bar
get trail spare's ready
put shocks in
gauges
im sure there is a bunch more that I forgot.  :outtahere: but this is what i have to start with :smack: :willynilly:

Slolyfe

Weld on sliders
Not break anything on next 3 trips
Refill with fuel
Possibly hose the dirt off
You'll never take me alive

order some longs and install them
chase my small oil leak (i think i fixed it last nite)DONE
do not break at four dyce next week
fill up the truck and get to the springs



edit: build a roll cage for the runner and maybe canvas top (starting 08/12/08)

Get the tires balanced for the 800 mile drive, it'll likely be a rough ride home.  I might pull one of the rear seats to make loading easier and keep the weight down slightly.  Possibly a CB radio install, we'll see about that.

installing rock sliders, f&R diff armor and a rear locker if i can and new camping gear.

If I have my rig ready by then, I have to have the following done:

~Registration
~Insurance
~Shocks all around :ack:
~Move rear axle back 8"
~New Starter :doh:
~New battery cables

And I'd LIKE to have this done:
~Gear Tcase :outtahere: (this is not likely, but I can wish right?)

Man, I live with that stuff in my truck :gap:  It has a semi permanent place around the shifter :gap:

Rebuild rear axle
Swap third members so I can run an Aussie in the rear, get rid of welded rear
Oil change for the tranny, tcases, and axles
pick up as many spare parts as i can
make half doors more bling bling
beer to motivate wrenching
re-bust out camping gear
girlfriend needs to get the time off

Nah, 8" is what I have between my rear spring mount and the end of my frame.  So I'm going to push the spring mount to the end of my frame, then cut out the rear body panel so that the tires can fit.
Not sure if I can pull that off before the trip though :dunno:

install chromoly shafts in front 10bolt
install  chromoly in rear with a c-clip eliminator kit for 12bolt
weld on a set of sky-locks
find cooler
and thats all
