tire fitment with SAS
« on: Jul 24, 2008, 09:29:30 PM »
Would a set of 37x13x17 Boggers fit with the 6" SAS and rear suspension lift?  Hows the drivetrain holding up to the 35+ meats.

Stock rears will hold up to a hell of a lot.  CroMo birfs in the front minimum.  Those tires will fit with abotu half that lift and some trimming and the front axle moved forward a few inches.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Doable

Yes 37" will fit  very easily with that much lift.Just to say I'm running 3" lift and trimmed the sheet metal some and running 36" IROKS only problem is the front tires rubbing the springs, that will be cured when the wheel spacers show.  My stock rear axles are holding up fine, will upgrade  when I every brake it.
Nothing puts a smlie on my face like the green glow of 4x4 on the dash !

Here is mine with 5" All Pro Springs and 37/13's.  With the shackles and spring hanger its probably closer to 7" of total lift and I think it sits too high.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
