Tire fitment to IFS lift
« on: Jan 22, 2013, 05:23:41 AM »
How big of a tire do you think I could fit with a 2" body and a 4 " ifs lift.  I think 35s easy and probably 37s. Right now I have the 2" and my 33s fit by a mile. I found a good deal on 37s and want them bad!!!

Well if you did some fender trimming you could run 37s without doing anything else. Are you planning on wheeling with 37s and ifs?

I have a 2 inch and 4 in pos bracket lift. I run 35's just fine. a 3 inch body will allow you to clear 37's just fine too.

Yeah Im gonna run the 37s with the ifs.  But Ive decided to only run them in the snow. That way Im not beating the piss out of the ifs, Ill do that with the 35s.

35's no lift with the right offset tire no problem..... so add 6" and 37's should fit....  IFS will hate you lol

I have run 35's with that setup with very little rub. You will need to pound the seams flat to avoid cutting tires.

I'd say no larger than 35. You're pushing with 37. Things just start happening after 35.
