22rte Injector wire harness question
« on: Jul 23, 2008, 08:26:27 AM »
alright, So I have burnt up 2 of my turbo injectors now due to the High current that is being pass through my #4 Injector only. I tried my spare computer, still does the same thing. I took some OHM readings last night determined that i have a short, somewhere within my wireharness. I believe it is right where the resistor wires meet for injectors 1 and 4. Does anyone know where these are tied together in the wire harness? Or better yet, if you have had this problem before, Point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Do you have a FSM, use that for a diagram.  Or best thing like I did was take out the harness and unwrap it and look for the problem.  Find a spare harness with the same gauge wire, and splice.  Or a factory 22re harness will work too!  I took out the turbo motor setup and put in a 22re in mine, and it's the same, no matter what the fsm said.

Hope this helps!

Just take the harness apart and find the issue!
