the trail is called Twister. it was a 3 dimond but is a little more like a 4 now days.

almost forgot.....
after bobbing the bed i had no bumper of rear recovery point any more.
so it was a cheap and easy fix thanks to Dave and Jason. Dave welded and Jason did the cutting and grinding...... Jason did the work because he has been driving my truck while the bumpers were being built for his truck...  8)
it's just a 2x3 piece of steel between the frame rails w/ some weld on D rings.
the D rings only cost me a few beers. a friend had them laying around.

total time and money for me. NOTHING!

the 4runner on the side of the Jeep was pulling me up but then his Waren shoot so i had no choice.

and that's only a jeep in the barest sense of the word.  It's a jeep tub and about 1-1/2 ft of jeep frame.  The rest is a custom made front and rear frame section, full on one-off suspension, corvette ls2, atlas 4 spd, and dynatrac 60s. 

Of course, the jeep guy was spotting for Andy, so it's probably his fault.

i drove my 85 pick-up w/ 268,862 miles from Houston to Taos, wheeled, and drove back! No problems other then a fucked up valve stem on my driver front and a few quarts of oil.
Went to New Mexico to see an old friend that i have known almost 30 years! that's a long time since i'm only 34. Any way here are some pics..............

went to Trees Ranch (middle of no where) over Labor day weekend. had a blast. i was the smallest tires in my group and did every trail except one. mostley because i had to drive my rig there and back.
