competition class rules
« on: Jun 18, 2008, 08:59:55 PM »
I am getting started on building a new full bodied toy to throw my axles and drivetrain under. Before I get to far along with it I would like to scam through the class rules for some comepitions. What series are there that have been around, or will be around in the future? I'm interested in some entry level type stuff, possibly stock modified or something like that. I'm not shure where to look to be shure my new rig will fit into a class. I looked over the moroc stuff, but I am curious if there are any other classes that are worth checking into, for the ar/mo/ok/west tn areas.

I'm not building this rig as a comp specific rig, but would like to have that option if I ever wanted.

Thanks

What's the matter with what you got?   :headscratch:
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

I'm never satisfied, and love to build, but my current rig isnt getting trashed, just changed. I can't compete in my current toy becouse it is either to extreme for the entry classes, or not built enough for the supermodified type classes. The entry classes don't allow dovetail rears, boatsides, or for the suspension to be modded from its origonal type. There are some of these rules that I would fit in but other I wouldnt.

For instance if I were to put bedsides on my rig, at a stock width, then I could kinda get around the dovetail rule. But there is also a requirement to have all of the stock frame. I only have stock frame from the cab back forward.

I have to find those requirements again. Now where was that link in my crawl mag???

I found these rules for w.e.rock in a search, but I think they are the ones I have read previously. http://www.we-rock.cc/rulebook.php

If yall come accross anything else like this please post up.
