carbon build up on 22R head bolt??
« on: Jun 06, 2008, 03:33:36 PM »

Well I pulled the head on a 22R. On the the exhaust side, the second bolt to the rear was difficult to get out. This bolt sits between #3 & 4 exhaust ports. The threads & most of the way up the bolt is clogged with carbon. Could this be a cracked head???
