It's looking more and more like the Migo isn't going to make it.  I'll be either hoofin it or borrowing my cousin's little 70.

Thanks guys

My biggest problem right now is finding a way to get it home from Reno.... that takes time and money I don't have right now, then at the bare minimum I have to put a starter into it and new shocks in the front (I have the shocks for the rear).  If I can find a way to get it home before 2 weeks before the roundup I'll be bringin it  I'm not giving up!!!!    :ladys-man:

Wish I wasn't stuck in Texas right now I'd take my trailer over and get it for you. There are tons of wheelers in the Sac area with trailers and tow rigs. It would not be the same without you guys.

so is there still a way to get the shirts and whatever? for instance, i payed for the one normal shirt with registration, but hten also oredered a second shirt... :dunno: how will this work?

Don't worry. If someone doesn't show up, but has paid for registration & t-shirts, we will be sending out the t-shirts and dash plaques to that person.

Usually there is room for tow rig & trailer. I do know that there are a couple of places along the trail (you'd have to ask CJ here at the shop about this) where you can leave your truck & trailer for the weekend for a very nominal fee.

Thanks, that's nice of you to say that.  I will be there for sure, just not sure whether it's with or without a rig that's all

If you can look up these coordinates in a mapping program, then this might be easier to understand.

There are "staging" areas at both ends of the trail:

Here at the Loon side (entrance): 39°0.215' N and 120°18.647' W

and Here at the Tahoe side (exit): 39°2.751' N and 120°10.063' W

Additionally, there is lots of room along the road leading to the Loon Staging area, in the area around 39°0.013' N and 120°19.030' W, and also you might be able to find parking in the city (but don't quote me on this) near Chambers Lodge, maybe around the area of 39°3.759' N and 120°8.780' W.

I've never towed my rig before, so I am not too keen on where to park, but these are areas where I usually see plenty of people parking their tow vehicles.

It be at my house in Cold Springs.  I'd take it down there, but I don't have a trailer  otherwise it would have been down there by now.
