Are they worried about mud flaps?  :dunno:

They're required in WA, but nobody seems to care enough to do more than mention it to me.

pretty much the same deal here.

Yeah I don't think they are going to be enforcing vehicle code things like mud flaps that are no brainers. they are going to be out on the trail themselves they ought to know that mud flaps + wheeling = losing your mudflaps so I doubt they would require those. On the streets you are supposed to have em but I doubt they would check them when you got to the trail.

I assumed he was talking about when he was on actual paved streets in CA, not the con himself :dunno:

Paved streets yes.

However many drive Icehouse not even close to street legal without problems.

Hell, Mr.FFC drove his XJ with no doors from Tahoma down 50 and back up Icehouse.

Absolutely need sliders.  :yesnod:  I would recommend the diff armor as well, but I managed without it last year, i was just real mind full of it at all times (took some damage though.)

I suppose a cop or Hwy patrol could just hang out after an event and make his quota for the month this way.

Anybody going in from the Tahoe side Saturday morning? I fly in from San Antonio from a business trip on Friday afternoon to Sac so I'm not gonna have much time to pack. I don't really want to haul balls all the way in from Loon to the Springs in one day especially since it's a 2 hour drive to the trail head. That makes for just too long of a day and not enough time to enjoy the trail. If I can find a group going in Saturday from Tahoe I think I'll try to make it. I initially didn't think I could but I think I could pull it off.

I hate to ask this Mike, but does the registration have to be IN by today, or postmarked today to get a raffle ticket???

I THINK Mrs. Marlin said it had to be post-marked by the deadline and I thought she said one week, but BigMike's number is two so I don't know for sure.  Mine is in the mail.
