heres some pics of a friends flop from a wile ago he endoed over forwards

PA_taco_13

This is a 79 Timberjack 230E with a 1,000 gallon water tank on it that I used to run at work.  My boss was driving it and I was standing on top of it sprayin brush when he made a wrong turn and it rolled 6 times about 200 feet down the mountain.  I jumped off the back, barely missing the winch, and watched him roll right on by me.  He somehow managed to stay inside the cage, was life-flighted, but ended up only having bumps and bruises, thank god.  So kids, this is what happens when your boss comes out and decides he can run the machines.

The first pic is me in my glory beforehand.  Second one is of it in a heap at the bottom of the mountain, third one is it back on its wheels, and the last one is where I was standing and had to jump off the top rail as it started to roll.

march 2002. slid 100 yard on ice doing the left swap right swap etc etc, road edge to road edge, saw a car coming, and I decided to end the havac before someone elses life came into the puzzle.  Ditched the car, rode up the bank did a barrel roll. Landed on my lid, flipped it over and drove it home..slowly.

Yesterday I almost added to the flop files.
bombing down some forest service roads with a crew of toyotas, me of course still being young, I blew a shicane. came around a left, which swung me haard headed into the last right, over shot the corner by a hair. had my front left wheel 3 feet down the bank headed for a good 100 foot down hill into trees. More than likely I would have  done the old tail gate over grill.

Fortunatly, I backed out in time for nobody to see the event fully. Just left the skid marks.

Life . . . should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a attractive and well preserved body --- but rather to skid in sideways, cigar in one hand, beer in the other in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, "WOW - What a ride!"

yotaboy79

um that didnt work

Rolled my truck on the way home on a flat road. Ya dumb move. Tried to pull over and the road just had been graded, so the piles of dirt on the side are real soft. My wheel caught the soft dirt and the rest is history :smack: Everything fell out of my tool box.
Time to build it into an F-toy

Hyena

Pretty sure i flopped it this weekend.

boggerunner

my 94 pickup after an icy ride off the interstate at 75 mph, and 2 3/4 rolls, bounced over the 3 ft fence on the shoulder, and i walked away with out a scratch, if it had landed on its wheels, i would of kept goin to work, i was less than a mile away.  Good thing i only paid $350 for the truck

Is it considered a flop when 2 wheels (same side) are off the ground ,even if the body never touched the dirt.

The runner came to rest on the slider with the mirror about 6'' from the ground.

I would say no. I would think 4 tires would have to be off the ground. That pic almost looks like it could be driven out :dunno:

KYOTA

looks like reverse + passsenger and it'd come right down

MR_DIY

I'd call that a flop for sure.  just b/c you could drive out of it doesn't mean it's not flopped.  look at comps  ;)
I'm going yota JUST so I can buy from Marlin more.

TOYOTA4X4

Earlier this month, down in Sierra Vista Az.....

Funny thing is, the 4runner used to be my truck.... I sold it to my best friend about a month before this. He invited me on a run, gave me the keys to my old truck, and what's the first thing I do?

Good times!
