Yeah, I loved Clampy when it was younger. It was actually the truck that got me into toyotas. I was going to buy a cherokee, then I saw that truck and fell in love with the cheap yet strong toyotas. He got it in what? 2003? I was only 12 then, and I just loved the never dieing free East Coast rust haulin farm truck Clampy. It is cool that someone on this board gets to talk to him personally. What ever happened to his buggy build? I don't think I ever saw what became of it.

On a side note: I was looking through my magizines and I found the article Fred did on that sweet toy that was raffled off. It is a very nice looking truck! Isn't there a build thread on Pirate for it? Well not a build thread, but a What I Did After I Won It thread?

He's finishing up the buggy as we speak,he's getting it ready for Ultimate Adventure.Clampy is one of my favorite Toyotas,it has a 3RZ in it now...Yeah that second gen that was raffled off was sick!!!!.The dude that won it lives in Nevada,he dovetailed it and dropped in a 4.3 last I heard.

Buggy? For UA? Sweet. 3RZ in Clampy? AMAZING. Whe I was looking through my magizines I came to an article saying that clampy was too rusty to wheel hard, so Fred were looking for a different toy to build. Look at clampy now. Big axles, big tires, and now 3RZ... quite the transformation form a free rusty farm truck. Ok, enough more action pics!

Yup,the conversion was done over at Marlin.It was a toss-up between a 3RZ,a Turbo Diesel and a 4.3.
