I'm new to the boards here, but have been wheelin yota's since the early 90's. I was without a 4wd toy project truck for about two years until recently when I acquired an 86 reg cab carb 4wd. This is my new project truck. In the last three weeks I've already stripped it down to the frame and have begun swapping over a cherry 94 2wd cab and 22RE. If all goes well she'll be runnin tommorrow. This is my third major Toy project. My last project truck, an 82 pick-up, had a MC dual case adapter in the 500 serial number range if I remember right. I'm really looking forward to getting back into wheeling again.

Yeah man, the 86 body, wiring, interior, and nasty carb, were shot. Not much hope. It did have a Jasper 22R with 28,000 on it. The 94 2wd was cherry, the guy who had it drove it about 50miles with a blown radiator hose. A storm knocked a tree down before he could fix the engine and crushed the bed. He told me I could have it if I hauled it off. That's how this project started. I was only going to take the EFI componets and ended up swapping cabs.
