anybody else hear about him on the news? has been serving the past 10 weeks or so in afgahnistan calling in air strikes until somebody in the press leaked it out. damn good of him to be willing to serve  :beerchug: .

I feel bad for him, it seems like he just wants to be left alone and follow his calling...maybe there's hope for the royal family!

I agree -- and it occurred to me that perhaps the royal family decided that 10 weeks was quite enough, and quietly instructed the media to 'leak' the news, therefore causing his departure from Afghanistan...  :dunno:

No, that would make perfect sense, actually.  "He was willing to serve, but we had to bring him home because of the media leaks".  Win-win for everyone and all too typical of the stuff that they usually pull.

Whatever.  So he gets some good press and whatnot in order to position him favorably..  At least he's not a total screwup like the rest of his relatives seem to be.  They could do far worse than him as King.
