The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission.

The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first.

I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.

I feel bad for his family.

It was his show that helped convince me that I could do some of the fab work that I ended up doing to my truck myself  I figured that if some of the clowns he had working for him could create those hot rods I could do some simple cutting and welding on truck.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

RIP I did not like his show though.  They always seemed to be more worried about getting it done than quality.  :dunno:

X2, I lost a lot of respect for him and his company after watching quite a few episodes of that show.  He was too worried about setting tight deadlines and pushing cars out quickly.  He held an attitude similar to american car manufacturers, where you push product out as quick as possible, and when the engineers tell you parts aren't fine tuned well enough you reply "just get it out, we'll fix them when the customers bring it back".

I hate to say it having worked in the industry sometimes you want to work slow but customers won't stop calling asking when its going to be done; even when its under contract for a certain date.

Guy had a lot of stress, so it's not too surprising, really.  Sad to see him go.

Course I think we'll be seeing those nutjobs from OC Choppers for many years.

I know this all too well.  I have to go out and fix boats while people are panicking because they think they're going to drift into shore and blow up (thanks hollywood!), then they're standing over me constantly asking what's wrong or when I'll be done so they can relax :shake:  Or, in the case of the college kids, some flat-biller bro is spilling who knows what alchoholic beverage on me...
