My ex fancy-pants neighbor went through 3 Mercedes and one day when he was standing there while it was in the shop yet again, he was looking across the street at the Honda dealership.  While he was waiting for his Mercedes to be worked on, he walked across the street and traded it in on a new Honda CRV.  Told the Mercedes dealer when it finally works right they can drive it right across the street and drop it off.  He couldn't be happier!

I know this story would have been happier if he drove off in a 4Runner, but still, you get the point.
RIP Kyle, we love and miss you man.  :smooch:

Our local Les Schwab installed a lift on a brand new ford they must have been hacks, cause one day the front end fell apart totaling the truck. Not only did their install suck but it also put peoples lives in jeopardy!

i have worked @ wheel works and america's tire comapny. i may be working for anotehr service center tsoon too.

i know the tricks, and what can go on in an automotive repair environment...

i can comment that america's tire company has a very good reputation for taking care of things and doing it right. if they damage something, they will make sure it gets taken care of

I have had that happen then I call back and ask for the person by name and then make up a name when they ask who you are and its fun when you get ahold of that person when they are "gone for the week"  Its all a tactic to get you so frustrated you will give up and take the crap they offer..  I know the feeling dont let em win!!  If they do it any more just tell them you will see them in court and I bet you get a call!  and if not just take em to court.  I found out in my case that alot of states recognize the small amounts that companies screw people so if you can get it under consumer protection the court can grant you 3 times what your asking just to make sure it was worth your wile to file!

It should be an open & shut case, just go ahead & contact a lawyer that offers free consults & give them the go ahead to sue...it'll never go to court; all it'll take is a phone call & that letter. They'll settle up; they have insurance for that very reason & if theirs lapsed for some reason during that time LOL....you just got a share in a local Les Schwab.

haha, he wants his car fixed.... don't think he wants any share of les schwab... because a share means you also accept it's liability

Oh and I found out that if you win consumer cases they almost always have to cover your attourney costs, and almost never would you have to cover theirs win or loss!!  I would hire a lawyer if I were you, usually they can get you more anyways.

When I've had issues with a company in the past and all of a sudden the contact within the company always seems to be out of the office when I call I just become someone else a few minutes later. Then once on the phone I ask the person that was my contact to connect me with their supervisor, and let him/her know what their employee is doing.
