Sorry Steve I forgot to inform you that I had stuff for you both. Orlan was very appriciative, and wants to ship the stuff to yall himself, even though I told him I would.  I got DTB address and I'm gonna call Orlan tonight after work to give it to him. Is it OK if he just sends your vice grips to you via DTB? If not pm me your address, and we can send you your own package. Thanks for lending a helping hand on the trail.

Chad got denied!

Lance had a simular setup, with the same wheelbase, and made it look easy.

#3 the last one, but biggest baddest native I saw all weekend. You can just hardly make em out but he is about 6ft long and black.

The bedrock under the water that my shackles drug on as I came up seemed awful solid to me.  :dunno: I imagine there wouldnt be that much water in dryer months like August.

Ron iformed some of us that he would be putting on a unadvertised toyta run. He said to make shure I put a valid email addess on my sighn in sheet so he could send out invites a couple months in advance. I asked if I could invite others, and I asked if it would be closed off to just toys. He said that all were welcome, but didn't have a date setup yet. He said he couldnt advertise becouse his jeep coustomers might get upset.  :slap:

The next trip I have planned is the ARTTORA run in september. I might could be talked into a trip to Hanibal or even Victors place between now and then if funds abide though.

I'd like to maybe attend that ATTORA event in Sept.  I think its in Hot Springs.  There is Also the Tornado Alley Cruisers event at Flatnasty I think the first weekend in October.  Last year they had about 50 rigs there.

If you want to run either of those places I suggest you set out a day to run Was hita in Farmington, MO too.  You can cover all of the trails you would be interested in one day there and its kind of on the way to St. Louis for you.  Depending on how big of a caravan you bring with you you could probably crash at one or our places for the night.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

I want to go to was hita but from what little I have seen I need to wait till they have built their trail system a little more. I think with a little time that park will give Flat Nasty a run for its money.

I will see what I can do about the links, but they worked for me.  :headscratch:

Mikey thinks exos are ugly, but he pretty much has one on his rig. He rolled hard on the rocks, and it just made the sheet metal fit a little more snug to the interior cage. Heck it didn't even pop out the windshield. Different strokes for different folks.  :driving:

Oh yea youll never have your rig finished......Slacker!  :gap:

Well after almost 3 hours of trying to load page 2 I finally gave up on trying to see the pics. I could not find a way on here to turn off the pics that makes them a clickable link. Just one of the perks of living amungst all the corn (dial up only). ::)

I do appreciate the compliment on the paint job Gittinit!
DTB What can I say about a truck that is so capable that it makes a newbe look good.
The flat belly did help though.

After reviewing the pics we have against the pics posted here of the "waterfall" climb, its not as steep as "lefty" @ victors! not even close to as techincal either. I know oldschool has seen "lefty" and maybe some of you have as well. as far as  I know only one rig has made the "lefty" climb so far!
there is another climb at victors(no name yet) that has not yet ben climbed....very technical, steep, undercut and slippery..........
