I bet victorsoffroad.com has a good engine you could get in there! Hammer Down!!!!!

I have seen a lot of parts break on "get it billy" .  Of all the rigs I have watched try it, non of them were ever going to even come close to making it before they started. All of them had the wrong set ups, wrong approaches and wrong spotters................ :inthedark:

Gittinit

Were gonna try and meet up at the cabin around noonish friday to hit a trail or two, although I will prolly be late. DTB and Mrs DTB are staying there so thats ground zero for fridays trail run.  :headscratch:

Saturday night anyone is welcome to bring some eats and join us at the pavilion at Bartons Lodging. Were gonna have some backyard bbq stuff going on, so bring some tater salad, or baked beans and beer and come hang out with us.

I tallied up the total definate, for shure, without a doubt, will show arkies and I'm up to 6 total rigs, 5 toyotas and one jeep, for a total of 13 people.  I have had 3 other jeeper friends say they were coming, but  I will belive it when I see em pull up. :dunno:

Here are a few pics.  I didn't take that many.  Dirtoyboy has lots of pics and He'll get them posted tomorrow.

This is Ron the park owners rig.  It running Fj80 Axles.  He made short work of evey obstscle we encountered.

I really liked this 4Runner.  I can't remember this guys name but he was one of the guys up from Arkansas.  If anyone ever wondered about the strength about the A340H auto tranny pushing duals and 39.5 Irok's this truck proved it holds up well.  (works well enough that he let his wife drive)

Nice pics.  Getnit did you do a build thread on your 4 seat conversion?  If so whats the link?  I am thinking of this with my truck.  Are you going to cover the rear seat?

This truck followed us a lot of places it shouldnt have with no body damage. It has STOCK suspension, a 3 inch drivetrain and body lift and 31's with a flat belly....pretty damn amazing if u ask me...we took it down a couple black diamond trails...the jeep guys were a little surprised to say the least

No I decided that the whole build thread thing isnt for me. I just cut from the back window lower corners down to the floor board. I used the cut out section of the cab for the floorboard just in front of the passenger seat. I used a jeep yj fold and tumble seat, and built a shallow tool/storage tray under it. Then it was just fenderwells, rollover protection, and seat belts, and relocating the tank. I still need a fuel cell, becouse the fuel tank takes up way too much space mounted just behind the rear seat.

Did yall know Mikey (silver 4 runr) rolled hard saturday night. He got hung on the ledge on trail 13 and put it un reverse.  As soon as he changed gears it unloaded, and over he went. I blinked then saw his rocklights shining on the tree tops. He made one complete roll from wheels to wheels with the side of his truck coming to a rest up against a tree. He had his lap belt on , but banged his head. He is ok but very tired, becouse he couldnt sleep after that. I am quite proud of the cage as it held without nearly a tweak, thats not to bad for a bunch of rednecks!

I will have some pics up soon. We have quite a few, and some videos too.

My son crawled a green trail (moderate) then Chad got hung up just seconds later. This was Chads 1st outing, driving, and I was spotting for my son, but its just funny, how much of a learning curve there is.

That Jeep made it everywhere thanks to this Toyota guy's Vice Grips.  Which he still owes me by the way.  :gap:
