This will make you wake up and smell the flower's, especially when it's your buddy who was in the truck. Everyone made it out fine, but i didn't know untill i showed up to set up security, it really made me think about what life give's us all..

I can't really give that info out, but the British EOD said it's the second biggest bomb they have ever seen in Southern Iraq.

And yes, everyone made it out just fine, my buddy was pretty shocked he made it out, and he was the only one to sustain a shrapnell wound, be everyone is good to go

Wow, that'll get your attention! I'm glad everyone is ok and that retribution is on it's way.

Take care over there and...  :usa: Thanks to all!

ouch how long it take for that to burn off teill you could load it up? We had one of them 6wheel army rigs burn to the ground and had to wait about 12 hours before we could recover it. Also if yah dont mind could you PM me some pics im a combat instructor at the School of Infantry west for the Marine Corps and before I graduate a class of students I pull out all my pics from my last two tours and give them the stories. their boots and have a zillion questions but it would be cool to add some others stories to mine (it gets boring telling my stories over and over)

Yes yes, and we had to wait about 8 hours before we could even walk up to it... when we did the first thing we took off was the 240, funny thing was, we would still be able to shoot it with a couple of things replaced on it. But i think there going to put it on a plak and give it to the gunner, which would be cool...
