Just wanted to check in from the State of Wisconsin.  Just picked up and 85 4 Runner with an 86 rear axle with a spool and V6 Thirds.  Twin sticks from of course Marlin.  A second T-case for the dual transfer case setup that I am looking at doing of course I will be looking for more parts from Marlin on this and also a locked front axle.  A good start on what should be a good build.

Runs great.  Broke a Birfield so now I have Longfields in it and also went with the 4.7 gears in the T-case.  To much fun.  I miss having the quad.  Hope that you are enjoying it.  Still want to do the dual case so that I have the stock 2.28 case back as the 4.7 is to low sometimes and then I put in high gear.  I also tweaked a spring when I broke the Birfield.  I need to put the other springs on it to fix it.  Here is a link to some of the fun we have had with the 4 Runner.  http://s531.photobucket.com/albums/dd359/Tim85Runner/4Runner/

Wow I really miss the quad.  I have been real busy with work and still would have no time to go on the quad.  It looks like you got a start on your next project.  Maybe we will run into each other on the trail sometime.  I am looking at going with a group of us to Superlift offroad park and also looking at going to Missouri for a trip.
