Your tires dont stick out that bad its probalby more that they dont have anti rock flingers!  I thought they would stick out more, mine do.  Did you ever figure out how wide ya are?

OK so to the outside of the tires is about 82 1/2

the inside of the cab is about 55.5"

the back part of the cab right above the bed is about 61"

These are all just guesstimates but using a tape measure

OK so I fixed the driveline with some new bolts




Heres the new fender and ripping out the old snorkel and fender. The only problem with this fender is it had that plastic flare on it so i had to take that off and now theres 6 holes. I plan on just welding them up and grinding them down but i didnt want to do it today.

Looking good man.  Seeing your truck (although I'm not a big fan of the color) just makes me pissed that my truck isn't done yet.  It has snowed 5 feet in the mountains here this week and I want to go up so bad.  I have to keep waiting for parts to show up.  Hopefully by this weekend it will be finished so I can go wheel.

Did you ever have to trim your fenders after lowering it?  Looks like the front would rub a bit?

Yeah I am trying to build this truck right the first time around.  I really want to link it but not right now at least.  I don't have the funds to do that right now.  But with the money have spent has all been on all useful parts nothing i don't need right now.

I think you should paint it silver.  The green reminds me to much of an army surplus jeep.  I'm not trying to dog on your rig just saying that I agree and like the silver better.

Yeah I dont know.. If I paint it, it will probably be a dark blue like my old truck but darker just cause the boat paint is cheap and im cheap and then touch ups would be easy. not only that my body after careful examination is actaully pretty dented up from the roll so a nice paint job would make it look like ass cause of all the small dents around it. Honestly its hard to see how some of the panels are dented but they are. its really no big deal but oh well.

And yeah if I were to build a truck over like ground up i would do it right the first time. my runner wasnt necessarily booty fabbed up but it also wasnt

I just wanna get some of the stock tacoma lettering off a 98-04 and put them on. Theyre silver.... Im not going to ever link this truck.

ANd yeah i trimmed them very minimal. The front rubs but not as bad as it looks like it would.

It looks a lot better. I just need to fill those 6 holes with either that mig welder in my garage, oxy-acet with filler, or bondo maybe even JB weld. I think I am going to use the ghetto ass mig in my garage.
