:yikes: I've been wanting a 1st gen 4runner since the day for about 8 years now and have finally come around to getting one...
I live in Abilene, TX and just got a blue 1989 SR5 4Runner with the lovely 3.0.  I am looking to make it in to a fun ride that I will daily driving and hopefully wheeling as soon as I am able to spruce it up a bit...

I hope that one day my ride looks like this: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=a7a03958984aa5ebc150f397055e0048&threadid=28541

I will post some pics of how it looks currently so that ya'll can get an idea of what I am working with. I have been reading here for many months and finally have something to talk about so bear with me.  :blah: :chew:

I have been to Abilene before, I actually stayed in Sweetwater while we were putting up wind turbines.
Welcome by the way.
