Finally Got A Runner--Jonnyblackfoot

I've been wanting a 1st gen 4runner since the day for about 8 years now and have finally come around to getting one...
I live in Abilene, TX and just got a blue 1989 SR5 4Runner with the lovely 3.0. I am looking to make it in to a fun ride that I will daily driving and hopefully wheeling as soon as I am able to spruce it up a bit...

I will post some pics of how it looks currently so that ya'll can get an idea of what I am working with. I have been reading here for many months and finally have something to talk about so bear with me.

Be forewarned those 3.0's get

for gas milage my wife's 88 only gets about 130 miles or so a tank around town.

I have been to Abilene before, I actually stayed in Sweetwater while we were putting up wind turbines.
