I hope she is going to be OK. That is a very debilitating injury. :sad2:

I got back yesterday, the trip sucked for me because I didn't get to wheel  .Friday before loading up I ramped the truck a few times to see if the front was gonna bind up because of the bad pinion angle and it seemed fine, didn't bind up.We got out there and tried to run Pumpkin Eater and on the first obstacle noticed my driver side wheel wasn't spinning,so I backed down to check it out and when I did the front started binding up  :smack: .It was fine going forward but when backing up it would bind.So between that and my non-working hub I decided rather than continuing on and braking it I would turn around and head back  .I gotta say though the trails there are pretty decent,it's not all lame like some people thought.I would say there's a few spots that are JV level. We had a great turnout,I didn't stick around for the dinner and raffle mainly because I was really tired but there were some really nice rigs out there. Here's a few of the pics I took:

Sorry to hear about the Taco's woes. :sad2: Its funny how what appears to be OK on a ramp ends up being an issue on the trail. :hammer:

Any more pics and stats on the trick Defender (yellow) behind Troy's truck?  :eyebrow:

Yeah I don't know what everyone that was complaining about the level of wheeling available there were talking about, I could show people some very tough areas out there, just ask CG we rolled his Toyota truck out there on Empire Strikes Back, I think the only thing missing on most of Stoddards trails is heavy body carnage, there are some very technical sections but they are just missing those huge boulders that tear up your body. The trails themselves can be very tough to run. For the most part there is almost every level of wheeling in the area from flat and fast to turtle slow.

Thanks, granny is OK but in the hospital. No surgery though she's a bit to old to survive this type of injury. Sucks but she's going to have to deal with the healing process without intervention. She is in pretty good pain but nothing Vicoden and Morphine won't cure. The only thing the Dr. suggests is Physical therapy.

Had a really good trip out there, had Larry Mc Rae as our trail leader      that was really kool, he was really nice and lots of fun,  on one part he went were no one had ever gone before,  straight up a rock face , just like we were at a comp, made for a nice day,

and for the people that thought that it was a run for the FJ's  there's trouble there if ya want to find it,
nice to go some where new.

ALLPRO paid for a good bbq dinner and after being on the trail all day, i was hungry, thanks guys  :beerchug:

the yellow rover belongs to a kool guy name Greg  he is the owner of SafariGard .com his rig has dynatrac 60's
front and rear atlas   full hydro steering    yea its bad arse

nowhitefenders

That's Larry spotting in the pic above.  He gets a big Thank You for getting me through that obstacle without a scratch.  Yeah, Troy is is right, you can find trouble out there if your looking for it.  Greg is a fellow Hemetonian, guess our little cow town produced some cool 'wheelers...
