Anyone know if this is true?.For those that don't know who Travis Barker is,he owns Famous Stars & Straps and is the drummer for Blink 182,not my favorite band but he's a fellow 909er.Just heard and was wondering if anyone knows

His girlfriend posted on her myspace that its not true and hes on tour, but supposedly he killed himself with car fumes in his garage

Last night on November 13th famous drummer Travis Barker was found dead in his garage. "He was found in his garage coming home from a dinner/award ceremony ."said reporter Tom Burry.

Investigators are not sure of how Former +44 drummer yet died or they are not telling the public the full truth yet.

Travis's wifes exact words "everyone one in the world has someone special who has died in there life. Maybe it hasnt happen yet but please pray for Travis and my family. i would appericate it and who ever did this to Travis is a sick! man"

So if you have a heart please repost this and take a minute and pray for this great drummer known as Travis barker.

And if you dont repost this no one will kill you and no one will hurt you and no you wont have bad luck for seven years. You just not posting this shows you have no heart.

That comment is just a TAD blown out of proportion

I don't tend to post on most of the threads. And what are you all hating on me for anyway. I am sure not the first one or the only one to ever make such comments even on the GBG thread, there have been plenty of guys that have said the same.

I certainly do not look at every single thread, that is not what the mods do. Over the last month I have hardly even been on anything but the shoutbox and even that has been minimal. I am not the only one on the board that has ever said "I don't care" and I am not the only one that has had a derogatory comment about something posted but when I do make a comment, it's not cause I really care either way, I am just busting chops.
I find it funny that people get so defensive over pictures (or stories) of people they don't even know, and most likely wouldn't give them the time of day if you passed them on the street.

just like you and I. Sure they entertain us but that's why they get paid the big bucks. My view on entertainment news should be related to entertainment not what stupid thing this actor or that actor did, but unfortunatly there are a whole bunch of people out there that just wanna know what they do in their private life. Obsessed that is what they are, sure if this guy has acually died it would fit into entertainment news but who the hell cares who is dating who and who is driving drunk and who is going to rehab and who is going to jail or not.

...and if I ran into a celeb which I have about the most I'd do is thank them for the entertainment. Could care less what there signature looks like. I don't need to show everyone of my friends that I met so and so and I have met quite a few of them. I have to admit I do have 2 autographs Don Shula and Dan Marino, they were given to me though I never asked.

When I worked at a pizzaria in San Mateo the 49er's frequented it. Joe Montana came in with his wife and friends quite a few nights while I was working and while I did find it interesting I would never think to ask someone like that for an autograph or have a picture taken with them. (not that we could have anyway)

But it's not true that I hate celebs as a whole either, if I remember correctly I was in agreement with infernals wife about (what's his name, the blonde actor that tried to off himself).

And if this guy on this thread had died as per the story it would have been because he offed himself, and while like...blonde guy... (and who was the old rocker that did the same recently) it's shocking and tragic I really can't have a lot of sympathy for someone (anyone) that takes the cowards way out.
There is help out there and celebs have more access to it then anyone.
