nope... dont care either... its what i want and what im gonna have...

BECAUSE:
when i pull up to a car show or a parking lot where alot of kids are and they say "oh, its 4x4 he dont have anything"....  then i pop my solenoids to my door the door opens my screen falls down and my back and front glass trembles from the bass AND THEIR JAWS DROP!

i just drive off like its nothing, with my new clean chrome 22's... PRICELESS!

sounds like some thing off pimp my ride! haha! and then people boo you outa the show because you have 22s on a yota, if you haven't noticed this web site is KINDA about wheelin, not pavement poundin. it is a disgrace to have 22s on a 4x4 yota and any one that thinks that is ok shouldn't have the pleasure and joy of owning one. yotas are wheelers, bottom line. :)

not quite my cup o' joe, but its your truck, you do what you want with it!  You clearly do good work, and your truck is gonna turn out nice.

If you dont use your 4x4 then you are missing out on what 4wheeling is about. A toyota will never be a show truck. turn it into a 4x2 so I can stop thinking about how much of a dill rod u are....

WTF?  he's a dill rod because he doesn't want to wheel his truck as hard as some of us do?  He's not allowed to own a toyota because he's not going to wheel it like we do?  What is this, Nazi Germany?   :shake:  "if you don't think like me, you're an idiot?"  WTF???

Come on guys, why so harsh? As much as some of us may not like clean91s ideas of a dream truck it is his truck, not ours. Like the man said, he came here looking for 2.7 swap info because of the superb knowledge available on these forums. He may not have the same goals as most of us have but there is no sense in discriminating against him. I dont think 22s should ever go on a toyota, i never liked the trend of lifted trucks with big rims....but that is what he wants to do. He obviously isnt the average bolt on retard, he does good interior work and has enough mechanical skill to attempt an engine swap. He just doesnt want to crawl.

Enough with the hating, we dont want people to think this is some kind of mini- pirate4x4 do we?? I look foreward to seeing how your truck turns out, crawler or not

for a good while i think these guys came from pirate... but whatever... thank you 46&2... it doesnt really bothe rme, their will always be people who cant read or just want to get on forums to dog others... somes funny, but most is just retarted... and a toyota will never be a show truck? lol pick up any mini truckin magazine or go to any truck show... TOYOTA is about to take over the S10... but you have no clue on this side of the earth

you would probably love twisted minis truck then. check his thread out he changed my mind about the quality of work that can go into a lowrider truck. Anyway you are brave to post your non-hardcore toyota on this forum hahah

not hating, dont u know how to TAKE a little criticism? I like your CLEAN 91 and all,but everyone who disagrees with u is an idiot? come on thats BS.

THK Matt

alright for you haters on here.... i dont see whats wrong with owning a nice toyota. any vehicle can be anything you want it to be.. thats why we all have imaginations... and frankly some of us actually use it.

Im into having that show looking truck.... but i use it too.
there's nothing wrong with him not wanting to wheel.
this isnt the confederate era... nor is it the time of the Nazi's.

i think its unfair and ignorant to cut him down.. for what his toyota is.
it could be worse, it could be a jacked up S10 on a 6in custom drop bracket lift with stupid ass suspension.
cut the guy a break everyone.

yeah its MarlinWorld...
but the guy on here... TwiztidMiniz...
none of yall cap on him...

so dont be hypocritical or dumb.

i think Clean91's truck is very unique.

Im great friends with ONTHEROCKS but I like your rig, I was going to build a 1990 extcab 4x4 fully shaved 20s with 44s and chrome axles 6 15s.
Kyle; take it easy on the guy hes a toyota fan just a little different and I can see why he dosent want to murder his truck on rocks- neither do I but I like to wheel.
If anyone wants to diss, diss on ME.
Not being rude kyle just walk in his shoes for a minute, and try to understand.

Clean91

its cool and dont bother me.. its mine and i drive it everyday.. now if it was my second truck, idprolly make a rig out of it... but i want something to show for my work and skills... so i keep mine clean thats how i like it.. i am in the mini truck scene, so sue me! o well.. and i happen to own a toyota...

i might just hold out on the 3RZ motor and switch the front suspension and bag it... lay it out on low pros and 22's... instead of a 4" lift and 35's with 22's.... hmmmmmmmmmm

im sorry if i was one of the few who offended you, that wasnt my goal at all, you have to be ready to take a little criticism when you come to a mostly toyota 4x4 forum and are making a toyota 4x4 into a mall crawler and then say that you wheel a jeep.......... lol am i right? good luck with the build !

Firts off, the paint looks good..and so does the custom fiberglassing.  Other than it, its pretty ugly.  Props for putting time into the truck.  I agree that not all trucks need to be wheeled and beat on.  This forum is for build research and buildups....your really doing both of those! The build deffinatley belongs in the forums.  Sure, 99% of us disagree with what your doing..but thats not because we dont like you or we are saying your work sucks..its mainly because those 99% are into WHEELING and beating the :pokinit: out of there rigs.  We arent used to having pretty boys around :)

THK Matt

Motorvated..... you saying ima pretty boy?
haha.
i will have a pretty truck too.
only thing thats different.
is i will wheel mine.
but like Glen said.
NO BASH ZONE!
i guess im a little different...
been grown up around the import racing and the 4wheel scene.

anyways.
like Clean91 knows... GOOD LUCK!

you know, i am gonna man up and apologise for the things i said and what not. but... i did tell you i liked your truck and i do, its one hell of a clean toyota! i just didn't agree with the 22s, and then you got cocky and attacked my oppinion in a very rude and un called for way. i have a short temper and like to stir :pokinit: so i persued it, in a rude way also. I'm just glad it was on an online form rather than in person, i take cockiness very badly and more than likely ended up in jail for the night. no offense, i am as cocky as they come, ask any one that knows me. i just tend to take things too far, so i am gonna squash this and hope you can too, i would like to continue viewing your build in a friendly manner.

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike
