 well i have owned this truck for about 3 years now, and ill never sell it, i have way too much time in this thing...

also my friend juat called me about a 2001 tacoma that was totalled... so i will be doing a swap also..

my truck is a 1991 pickup extra cab 22re 5sp 4x4...

its been painted lakeshore silver (PPG) by me and my old boss

the interior is wayy too much to explain, i have done the interior myslef while working full time and going to college full time...

ALOT OF MODS! hope you like...

it has black carpet now... and thats not duct tape, its sound deadening mat, i have it everywhere..







i have many many many hours in this interior... alot of time... i think its worth it, let me know

lol thanx guys! yes its a daily / show truck.. my future plans are a 4" suspension lift and 35" Terra Grapplers with 22" chrome mazzi Hulks...

BUT thats on hold, now that a friend found a rolled 2001 tacoma with 85,000 miles on it! so i am going to buy that... AND TRY TO SWAP MY 22RE FOR the 3RZ!

now if anyone is located anywhere NEAR northeast Louisiana, i will gladly help you with stereo, fiberglass paint anything for work with the swap! i really wanna do the swap, nothings wrong with my 22re but i need that extra power (not just to show off! lol) but to push the 22's and i also need to get some lower gears.. PLEASE someone help with the swap, ive been doing alot of reading about the swap in bigmikes thread...

ALOT OF great info. but now i know the wirings a pain and im not sure if i can do it... let me know

now what would be sweet is if you kept that interior but made it a usable off road truck.I meen you dont have to get into some metal bending trails but put some nice clean cut bead locks, 35's a SAS and lock it. and youll have one sweet rig! but looks pretty good right now. and welcome to the family

Looking good  :thumbs: Reminds me of my 90 extra cab show truck. How many speakers are you running? I had 14 in my 90 then when I got a camper shell I stepped up to 22 speakers. In my 87 4Runner crawler I'm running a 1,000 watt amp & a 12" sub.

thanks dude... i know alot of toyota owners love their trucks, and i never understood why until i bought one... oh and about DTB.. i know, i talked to him in the shout box before i posted my truck... hes cool!

but anyone know where i can get a HID kit for my truck? and alos.. any tips on this 3rz swap?

i found a sweeet deal, bell housing and all, i have to pull it and all the wires too... but id love for someone on these forums to help... ill need it! and ill have a 22RE to get rid of... but before i drop in the 3RZ i wanna do a few upgrades.. (hahah might as well huh) maybe a new crank and cam? header.. etc..? anything else? performance distributer? idk any suggestions???

right now only 8... then ill get my 2 12's and itll be 10... all of mine are staged and insode the cab.. its gonna be loud... i promise! all of my panels where my speakers are they have backstops.. which means they wont bottom out, they are also in a small enclosure sort of...

but i have all that sound deadner and really good wire... so im hoping for PHENOMINAL results.. i have had all my mids and highs and my amps for them, all my boxes and amp racks built for about a year and a half! WITH NO SUB AMP AND SUBS YET! so i cant tell you exactly.. but my neighbor has sound labs.. so imma run a test when i get them this christmas!!!

NO.. those arent 22's those are 17 inche eagle alloys.. and only a 3" body... i was going to have my 4" lift and my new tires and rims around march... my birthday, but i wanna do this 3RZ swap... i like mini trucks more that mud riddin or wheelin' whaever its called now...

i have a 91 ext ranger bagged and body dropped... i like to play!

but i wanna try this engine swap first...

ANYONE FROM LOUISIANA??? or close? ill drive if someone can help? ill build you a system or something.. anyone?

I read your going 12s and I figure Kicker, but what model?
I used to be into car audio big time, but I always wanted better than the next guy.
My pockets have a bottom so I kinda gave that up. I still rock 2 15" fosgates and 4   5 1/4" rfpowers. 
There are a few systems around my town that bump harder but whatever. 
Its cool that your a Kicker fanatic, Im a R.F fanatic. 
Kicker makes great quality products.
Do a search on (Rockford Fosgate Power T2 15) Im going the dual 2 ohm,
Thats what Im upgrading to.
