Uh...that was the first time I ever heard anything by them. It wasn't an all together unpleasant experience.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first.

I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.

That's one of my faves also.  I still have the concert t-shirt from the "last ever" haloween show at Irvine Meadows (I went to two of those "last ever" shows.) :talkingn:

The greatest Halloween concert ever!  8) I saw them in 88 for their Halloween show (you were in the 6th grade by then  :haha: ) but I first saw them at the 82 Us Festival (when you were in kindergarden  :ha_ha: ).  The Us Festival was at Glen Helen, so you might have heard the music. :) 25 years later the "rainbow" Apple Computer stage looks super  :stopit:

Danny Elfman did the soundtrack to "Nightmare before Christmas!"  That's why the main song from that movie rocks!

You saved the shirt?   I have a friend who has bought a concert t-shirt for every band he has seen since the early 80s. He wears them a few times and then stores them. At last count, he has a little over 100 shirts. Fun collection, but a little to obsessive/compulsive for me.

Yeah, same thing.  I wore it a couple of times and then stored it away.  It's the only one I've done that with though.  I'll drag it out and take a pic of it.  I'm just not sure if I have it with me or if it's still on the mtn.  I'm going home tomorrow though so I'll find it here shortly.

I was 18,I really wanted to go to that one but didn't make it.I have that album(well it's 2)and everytime I hear it it makes me wish I would've gone.I posted a bulletin on MySpace about that a while back.Probably the best version of Dead Man's party, specially the way they started it off.I thought I was really cool back then
