needs a new latch, that rock magnet/anchor t handle thing has to go

other than that it is sweet....

would like to see some more frame bracing on the bumper... but its the same as stock mounts... so.....
Actually we are working on another design for that right now.

Yes the white runner is mine,
Wanted one since I was 14, took till 28 before I could build one.  Grew up in nor cal Durham Chico/Orangevale SAC so the TOYOTA thing is programmed inside.Couldn't have done without help from friends and fam., especially cool wife for letting dump every dime I had into it.  Typing takes for days for me, but I wanted to thank you guys(forum) for positive comments and for the stuff/pics, tech etc.  Any old friends out there Tim says what up and give a call

Yeah me too. I can't even talk my roommate into making a spare tire rack like that for me.

This is a spare tire carrier that my roommate made for someone on the board. (sorry, I don't know his screen name only his real name) let me know what you think of it.
As far as I know it was made of .120 wall DOM( Tim you can feel free to chime in)

Nice front and rear, on the rear you need to tie in the sides otherwise it will flex and the T handle nees to go-this will be the first to get hit.
On the front you should tie in the bottom moounting bracket and on the top tie it into the hanger.Lastly, what degress is that stinger, looks a little far back to be effective on a front endo......no winch mount?

The rear is actually being modified right now (the T-handle is on its way to the trash in favor of a locking latch), and as for the front bumper it is not yet finished. It still need another attachment point (going to the body mount), as well as winch mounting plate and integrated winch fairleads (for synthetic line). The front tube angle is 72* which is close to what the approach angle will be when the new front springs go on (moving the axle forward).

those bumpers are both awsome, the front just needs a winch

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike
