what do you mean the rad cap blew? it vented the cooling system or it blew off the radiator or what?
it is a good idea to move that O2 back up and get rid of the splice. Make sure you solder it and the shield is OK. Have you tries to start it since?
Have you checked your plugs or your coolant to see what they look like?If it wasn't hot, and the cap vented, it sounds like a head gasket leaking combustion pressure into the cooling system. I'd pressure check the cooling system, and check the cap.
i think i will just have a local exhaust shop put a bung on one of the tubes and run a new o2 off that.6)(from Chilton rm) No engine revolution sensor (Ne) signal to ecu or Ne value being over 1000 rpm in spite of no Ne signal to EC- defective igniter circut or distributer;;; this i have never heard of nor do i know where to look............i need some HELP on this one
First, do NOT move the O2 sensor. that is a "modifying" of smog equipment.if a smog tect finds it he will not be able to smog the truck. In caliy the O2 thingiy has to sample more than one cly.ok, when you got the codes was the truck running?with the lc header you have to move the o2 and it was moved when it was smogged. the header has a od reg# but i understand what you are saying. if they wanted to they could fail me od# or not. i want to move the o2 back to a stock location. then put in a new o2 maybe even a factory one. $$$$$$$$$$$$no the motor was not running. only the acc
